1. Undergraduate Assessment Test (UgAT)


Step 1: The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) requests for the development of the UgAT from the Office of Admissions three months before the schedule of the UgAT for the first trimester of every academic year.


Step 2: The Admission Section pre-evaluates the undergraduate applications, forwards the summary to the Undergraduate Admissions Committee (UAC), and schedules the UAC’s first round evaluation of undergraduate applications.

Step 3: The UAC evaluates the undergraduate application. The Admission Section extracts the list of UgAT takers.

Step 4: The Admission Section requests for the list of examiners and venues for the UgAT from the Exam Unit of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).

Step 5: The Admission Section informs the examinees of the details of the UgAT by email.

Step 6: The Admission Section prepares the examination materials and mails/sends them to the examiners one week before the schedule of the UgAT (not applicable if the exam is administered online).

Step 7: The OUR, in coordination with OSA, administers the UgAT.

Step 8: The examiners mail/send the used and unused examination materials back to the OUR (not applicable if the exam is administered online).

Step 9: The Admission Section emails the link the DE Readiness Module (DERM) to all UgAT takers.

Step 10: The Admission Section produces copies of the answer sheets and forwards them to the respective UgAT markers.

Step 11: The UgAT markers provide the results of the exam to the OUR.

Step 12: The Admission Section encodes the UgAT results, forwards the summary to the Undergraduate Admissions Committee (UAC), and schedules the UAC’s second round of evaluation of undergraduate applications.

Step 13: The Undergraduate Admissions Committee (UAC) evaluates the applications. The Admission Section extracts and encodes the evaluation results, and informs the applicants of the results of applications by email.




2. Graduate Admission Test (GAT)

Step 1: The OUR requests Master of Public Management (MPM) GAT questionnaire from the Faculty Office (FO) one (1) week after the application deadline.

Step 2: The OUR finalizes the list of MPM GAT examinees one (1) week after the application deadline.

Step 3: The OUR sends the list of examinees and requests for examiners and exam venues from the Exam Unit of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).

Step 4: The Admission Section sends details of the exam to MPM GAT takers via email.

Step 5: The Admission Section prepares examination materials (i.e., attendance, masterlist, test permits, etc.) and mails/sends them to the examiners one (1) week before the exam date (not applicable if the exam is administered online).


Step 6: The OUR, in coordination with OSA, administers GAT.

Step 7: The examiners mail/send the used and unused examination materials back to the OUR (not applicable if the exam is administered online).

Step 8: The Admission Section produces copies of the GAT answer sheets.

Step 9: The Admission Section forwards copies of answer sheets and MPM application documents to the FO.

Step 10: The OUR receives the evaluation results three (3) weeks before the registration period.

Step 11: The Admission Section encodes the results to the OUR database and informs the applicants of the results via email.




3. Qualifying Exam (QE)


Step 1: The Admission Section requests a copy of Master of Arts in Language and Literacy Education (MLLE) applicants' True Copy of Grades from the Records Section one (1) week after the deadline.

Step 2: The Admission Section forwards application documents to the Faculty Office (FO) two (2) weeks after the application deadline.

Step 3: The OUR receives a list of qualified examinees and QE exam materials a month before the exam date.

Step 4: The Admission Section notifies applicants of the initial evaluation results via email.

Step 5: The Admission Section sends a MLLE list of examinees to OSA and requests for examiners and exam venues.

Step 6: The Admission Section prepares examination materials (i.e., attendance, masterlist, test permits, etc.).

Step 7: The OUR notifies the examinees of the exam details through email.

Step 8: The OUR sends/mails the examination materials to the examiners one (1) week before the exam (not applicable if the exam is administered online).

Step 9: The OUR, in coordination with OSA, conducts the exam.

Step 10: The examiners mail/send the used and unused examination materials back to the OUR (not applicable if the exam is administered online).

Step 11: The OUR receives the evaluation results three (3) weeks before the registration period.

Step 12: The Admission Section encodes the results to the database and informs the applicants via email.




4. Doctoral Admission Test in Education (DATE)


Step 1: The Admission Section forwards application documents to the Faculty of Education (FEd) two (2) weeks after the deadline

Step 2: The Admission Section receives the recommendation and qualified DATE takers from FEd.

Step 3: The Admission Section retrieves DATE takers and retakers from previous terms for re-invitation to take the DATE.

Step 4: The Admission Section sends the invitation to take the DATE and informs DATE examinees to pay an exam fee (PhP 500) at the College of Education, UP Diliman, prior to the exam date.

Step 5: The Admission Section forwards the list of qualified DATE examinees to in-charge personnel from the College of Education.

Step 6: The College of Education administers the DATE and forwards the results to the OUR. The OUR provides a copy of DATE results to FEd.

Step 7: The Admission Section emails the link the DE Readiness Module (DERM) to all DATE takers.

Step 8: The OUR receives the evaluation results of PHD applications from FEd.

Step 9: The Admission Section encodes the results and informs applicants of the results by email.
